ABOUT KATIE BRISBOURNE

Born in the historic town of Shrewsbury, Shropshire, Katie started singing at a very early age, competing in the finals of several national singing competitions and making several appearances on TV.

As a result this great experience gave Katie the determination and passion to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.

When Katie left school achieving music GCSE, decided to study Performing Arts at the 'Shrewsbury College of Arts and Technology', to develop her skills as a singer and performer,  but to also progress in her passion for acting.  A lot of great training was offered and Katie attended many workshops, but one of the most memorable and significant experiences was her one to one training with the British youth film academy (BYFA) which is a cutting-edge film training school, for a film-making commercial  industry experience.

After a two year course Katie gained her self a level 3 BTEC National Diploma, with a triple distinction.

Katie's next step was to find an opportunity to travel the world, experience different cultures and have the chance to be more discovered as an artist, so continued her singing journey and that’s where she fell in love with entertaining in several luxury holiday resort’s and on many cruise liners & yachts, eventually climbing her way up as a guest entertainer with full passenger status.

As well as working abroad, Katie didn’t want to loose touch with the record industry, so got involved with several producers creating some original music, the most recent original song 'It's Over Now' made a big impact in the music industry, especially in the United States, earning Katie and her co-writing team 'Truu Colours' a no.5 hit in the American dance charts, the song received an established and official blue tick on Spotify, with over two million plays on several media platforms.
